Ogle County Online Diversion Program
(Evidence Based Theft, Alcohol and Drug Diversion Courses)

 

The Ogle County Online Diversion Program is offered to eligible youth that have committed a misdemeanor level alcohol, marijuana, or shoplifting offense.  Participants are currently being referred by the States Attorneys Office, City Courts, and Schools.

The online diversion program is designed to educate youth regarding the specific offense committed.  All youth will be required to complete an online education course.  Each course takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete and includes a 1 hour parent education portion. There is a $75.00 enrollment fee and the course must be completed within the first 30 days of participation.  Youth will be monitored for a minimum of 8 weeks and must remain in good standing in the community maintaining no police contact.
