Contract Accountability Monitoring is utilized to address concerns regarding youth who are having an increasing number of police contacts or as a diversion to pursuing formal charges.  Accountability programming offers youth an opportunity to change their at risk behavior and begin making better choices to avoid future court involvement. 

 

  • Report is logged and tracked
  • Referral for Contract Accountability Monitoring is made by States Attorney’s Office, Law Enforcement or through Out Reach
  • Contract Coordinator meets with family to discuss participation
  • A Behavior Contract is established addressing needs and concerns
  • Participation in local activities may be required
  • Referrals to local service agencies may be required
  • Guardian is asked to report the youths progress or any concerns
  • Law Enforcement or School Officials maybe provided a copy of the behavior contract if applicable
